Pune Municipal Corporation has proposed six affordable housing projects under PMAY 2.0, spread across Hadapsar, Kondhwa, Dhanori, Wadgaon Khurd and Balewadi, adding up to roughly 4,725 planned homes. PMC is putting in around Rs 300 crore, and each unit is designed at about 300 square feet. Hadapsar carries the largest share at close to 2,000 units, followed by Kondhwa at 736, Dhanori at 676, Wadgaon Khurd at 465 and Balewadi at 296. The scheme runs under the phase-two window of PMAY, which the central government has extended to 30 September 2026.
