Pune students move house and change jobs mid-course more often than institutes admit, usually because a new job lands in Hinjewadi when someone started training near Hadapsar, or a family shifts from Kharadi to Wagholi partway through the year. Here is what genuinely changes, and what does not, if you need to request a switch between our two Pune centres.

Why This Comes Up More Than You'd Expect in Pune

A BIM diploma runs for several months, and Pune's job market and traffic patterns change faster than that. A student who enrolled at Hadapsar because it was close to a previous office may take a new role near Wagholi three months in. This is common enough that both our Pune centres run on the same syllabus and course structure specifically so a transfer does not mean starting over.

What Stays the Same Across Both Centres

Wagholi and Hadapsar teach the same course sequence, the same software versions and the same assessment structure, so a transfer does not cost you a restart. Your progress record, completed modules and any fee already paid carry over administratively; you are not asked to pay again for content you have already covered. What can differ is the specific trainer and the exact batch timing, since each centre runs its own schedule.

What You Should Check Before Asking for a Transfer

Confirm that the destination centre is currently running a batch at the same stage of the course as the one you are leaving, since batches at Wagholi and Hadapsar do not always start on identical dates. If the timing does not line up exactly, ask whether you would join slightly ahead or behind on a couple of modules, and get a clear answer on whether that gap is covered through recordings or a short one-on-one catch-up session, similar to how we handle any missed class.

How to Actually Request It

Speak to your current batch coordinator directly rather than the new centre first, since your record and remaining fee balance sit with the centre you are currently enrolled at. Ask for the transfer in writing over WhatsApp so both centres have the same confirmation, and try to give at least a week's notice so the receiving centre can slot you into the right batch rather than the next available one regardless of stage. Both centres operate under the same government-affiliated, ISO and MSME certified structure, so a transfer between them does not affect your certificate or its recognition either way.
