It assumes you treat this like a job: 6 days/week, 5–6 hours/day combining classroom, lab and self-study. It is intense but not inhuman.

Month 0 — The Day You Graduate

Within 30 days of your MSBTE diploma exam:

1. Print out a CV with your project work and your one or two strongest grades. Keep it to one page.
2. Open a LinkedIn account with a real photo, your real name, "Diploma Civil — BIM Aspirant" as the headline.
3. Get an Autodesk Education account (you''re still a student until October).

Months 1–2 — AutoCAD and 2D-to-3D Mindset (80 Hours)

You probably know AutoCAD from MSBTE. You don''t know it well enough. Pune BIM employers test:

• Layer discipline (no random layer creation, named blocks, Xrefs).

Months 3–4 — Revit Architecture (120 Hours)

Pune AEC firms separate "Revit modellers" from "Revit Structure modellers" by ₹1.5–2 LPA. The Structure module covers:

• Concrete and steel framing.
• Rebar and reinforcement.
• ETABS round-tripping (CSiXRevit).
• Foundations: isolated, raft, pile.

Months 9–10 — Revit MEP + Navisworks Federation (120 Hours)

The deciding skill for Pune ₹6 LPA hiring. MEP modellers and MEP-coordination-aware modellers are scarce and well-paid.

• HVAC: ducting, equipment families, zoning.
• Electrical: panels, conduits, cable trays, lighting calcs.
• Plumbing: water supply, drainage, fire-fighting (NBC 2016 Part 4).
• Navisworks federation, clash detection, time-liner.
• Two projects: a small-format Phoenix mall MEP layout, and a Ruby Hall Wanowrie hospital MEP corridor.

Deliverable for month 10: a federated Navisworks model with clash report (from the hospital project). The clash report PDF goes on LinkedIn.

Months 11–12 — 4D, 5D, BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (80 Hours)

The 4D/5D module brings the schedule and cost into the model. ACC (BIM 360 successor) makes you instantly hireable into international and tier-1 Pune firms.

• 4D in Navisworks Timeliner / Synchro 4D.
• 5D quantity takeoff via Revit schedules → BoQ.
• ACC: project setup, document control, issue management, model coordination, transmittals, design collaboration.
• IFC 4 import/export.

Deliverable for month 12: a 4-week schedule overlay on the Punawale G+12 project + a complete ACC project setup with you as Project Admin.

Months 13–14 — Specialised Portfolio Polish + Mock Interviews (40–80 Hours)

By month 13, you have four portfolio pieces. Now you polish:

• A clean 20-page portfolio PDF.
• LinkedIn fully populated with all four projects, video walkthroughs, and a 90-second profile summary.
• A GitHub or Behance backup link.
