Five Years of BIM and Revit Enrollment at ABC Trainings Pune: What the Data Actually Shows (2022–2026)

Most articles about choosing a BIM specialization in Pune lean on generic claims — "high demand," "growing industry," "great career scope." We decided to do something more useful: pull our own enrollment records from 2022 through May 2026 across the four courses that make up our civil and BIM pipeline, and look honestly at what students have actually been choosing, and where.

The Four Courses Behind Pune's BIM Pipeline

Most students entering this field at ABC Trainings pass through one or more of four courses: AutoCAD for Civil Engineer & Architect (the most common entry point, especially for diploma holders and fresh graduates), and the three Revit specializations — Revit Architecture, Revit Structure and Revit MEP. What the Enrollment Numbers Actually Show

Since June 2022, AutoCAD for Civil Engineer & Architect has drawn 649 enrollments company-wide, making it comfortably the largest of the four. Revit Architecture follows at 388, then Revit Structure at 122 and Revit MEP at 119 — Architecture outnumbers Structure and MEP combined by more than 1.5 times. That gap is worth sitting with: it is not that Structure and MEP are dead ends (our placement data shows real hires from both), but that far fewer students currently enter through them directly, which is a genuine factor in how much peer cohort and structured batch support a student in those tracks can expect compared to Architecture.

Wagholi vs Hadapsar: How Pune's Share Breaks Down

Applying our branch-share data to each course, Pune's two centres — Wagholi and Hadapsar — together account for roughly a quarter to just over a quarter of enrollment in every one of the four courses: about 26% for AutoCAD Civil, 28% for Revit Architecture, and around 24% each for Revit Structure and Revit MEP. Within Pune, Wagholi has consistently taken a slightly larger share than Hadapsar across all four courses (typically by 2–4 percentage points), though Hadapsar has grown into a genuine second hub rather than a minor satellite — worth knowing if you're deciding between the two on convenience rather than assuming one is clearly bigger than the other.

What the Numbers Don't Tell You

Enrollment volume is not the same as outcome quality, and we'd rather say that plainly than let the numbers imply more than they do. Our average review rating across all four courses is 5.0, but the sample sizes differ a lot — 37 reviews behind the AutoCAD Civil rating, 24 behind Revit Architecture, 15 behind Revit Structure, and only 5 behind Revit MEP. A 5.0 average from 5 reviews and a 5.0 average from 37 reviews are not the same kind of evidence, and we think prospective students deserve to know that rather than see the two presented identically. What This Means If You're Deciding Now

If you want the deepest bench of past students, structured batch cohorts and the largest set of public reviews to check before enrolling, Revit Architecture and AutoCAD Civil are where most of that evidence currently sits. If you're drawn to Structure or MEP specifically — and there are good reasons to be, since both feed into distinct, less crowded hiring tracks — go in aware that the visible peer group and review base is smaller today, and lean more heavily on speaking directly to a trainer at your eligibility and course fit before committing, since general enrollment trends won't tell you whether the specific 2026 batch has strong cohort size in that track right now.
