About Rahul

I've spent the last 12 years at the intersection of mechanical design and CAD training, and honestly the best part of my job is watching a fresh diploma student go from never having opened SolidWorks to delivering a production-ready assembly inside 90 days. I came up through the Pune product-engineering ecosystem, and over those years I've trained engineers from KPIT, Bajaj, and Mahindra on advanced surface modelling and large-assembly performance — the kind of practical bottlenecks they don't teach you in college. At ABC I lead the CATIA V5 and NX programs across our Hadapsar and Wagholi centers. My approach is unapologetically project-first: every batch ships at least three real industry-grade parts (a powertrain bracket, a sheet-metal enclosure, a Class-A surface) before they touch theory. I'm a stickler for design intent — if your tree breaks when a colleague edits a sketch, you haven't designed it, you've drawn it. Outside of class I review portfolios for free for serious students; I've personally referred 40+ alumni into mechanical design roles in Pune. If you're a Mech graduate trying to figure out whether to pick AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA or NX first, walk into Hadapsar on a Saturday — I'll map it to where you actually want to work.

Notable work & projects

  • Trained 600+ mechanical design engineers across Pune (2014-2026)
  • Built ABC's 6-month CATIA V5 industry-immersion curriculum
  • Mentored 40+ alumni placed at Pune product-engineering services firms
