Fifteen years on plant floors and in training rooms have taught me one thing: PLC programming is 20% syntax and 80% knowing what the maintenance team will curse you for at 3 AM. That's the lens I bring to ABC's Industrial Automation track at our Cidco (Sambhajinagar) and Wagholi (Pune) centers. I started on Allen-Bradley ladder logic when SLC-500s were still considered modern, moved through Siemens S7-300 era, and now I teach the full Industry 4.0 stack: Studio 5000, TIA Portal, Wonderware InTouch, FactoryTalk View SE, and ABB robotics integration. My batches are heavy on the lab — we have working PLC trainers, real VFDs, and a small SCADA testbed. I refuse to teach automation from PowerPoint. I've delivered Siemens S7 and SCADA refreshers to maintenance teams adjacent to Bajaj and Bosch plant operations across Pune-Aurangabad belt, and I hold the Siemens Certified Automation Professional credential — which I make a point of telling students isn't a magic ticket, but does prove you took the time to actually understand TIA Portal's quirks. Sambhajinagar's industrial belt is exploding (Auric, DMIC) and the demand for PLC-literate engineers is real.
