What you'll learn

Master PLC programming & SCADA end to end

For Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation engineers

PLC, or Programmable Logic Controller, is an industrial digital computer that makes you ready for the mechanical automation process in manufacturing units and construction buildings. You apply your expertise to dynamic development, sequential control, counters and timers, and ease of programming and control. PLCs are widely used in industry to eliminate the hard wiring of standard relay control circuits and improve productivity — a robust industrial computer whose designed task is reading field tools and controlling actuators.

SCADA, or Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition, is used for high-level process supervisory management. It is the control system that manages computers, networked data communications and graphical user interfaces, enables real-time detection of faults in machinery, and reduces the number of defects in the end result. The SCADA portion covers hardware, software and services — essentially a piece of software installed on a PC that acts as a Human Machine Interface.
